Last month saw our team attend one of our industry’s most established awards ceremonies. We were finalists at the H&V News Awards 2017, which celebrate excellence and the highest achievements in the building services industry.
With more than 1,100 people in attendance, this was an event which saw firms of all shapes and sizes from across the sector come together for a night which shone the spotlight on leading products, contractors and projects.
This was a highly competitive category and the award went to one of the largest MEP contractors in the UK, NG Bailey, for Wrightington Hospital.
Although it would have been fantastic to walk away with the award, making it into the final against such stiff competition including many larger contractors, was still a huge achievement for our team.
With just over 50 staff, we may not be the biggest firm in our sector, but we’ve maintained our strong reputation over the last 60 years and now work with many of the UK’s top main contractors on schemes ranging from leisure centres through to museums.
Our in-house team, staff retention rates and family values have all played a part in this success, ensuring we deliver our projects to the highest standards and build successful relationships with our clients.
So, hats off to NG Bailey for a fantastic project and award win, but we’re also giving ourselves a pat on the back for appearing alongside them and some of the biggest and the best in the final.
We’re looking forward to building on this success, entering again and the chance to walk away with an award in 2018!
