REL has been tipped for a top title at the H&V News Awards 2017, which celebrate excellence and the highest achievements in the building services industry.
Working in partnership with the ISG project team, REL designed and delivered a complex mechanical services package for the leisure facility, ensuring it integrated seamlessly with the fabric of the building and will result in a 40% reduction in CO2.
Toby Buckley, managing director of REL said: “We’re really proud to have been named a finalist in such a competitive category, particularly as this is the second year running we’ve made the shortlist.
“The Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre is a strong example of our expertise in the leisure sector and ability to work effectively with all members of a project team from the early design stages through to delivery.
“We’re now looking forward to the next stage of the awards process and joining our peers at the ceremony later this year.”
Now in their 23rd year, the H&V News Awards cover the entire HVAC and building services supply chain. Last year, more than 1,100 people from across the sector attended the awards ceremony.
Following presentations from the finalists to a panel of judges, the winners will be announced at an awards dinner on 20th April 2017 in London.
