REL welcomes new team member
Following a raft of new contract wins, REL Building Services has appointed a new team member.
Mark Edwards joins as Senior Electrical Project Manager bringing more than 40 years’ experience to REL. Throughout his career, Mark has worked for clients in both the public and private sector and ran his own electrical contracting business for 17 years.
Based at REL’s head office in Bromley-by-Bow, East London, he will be responsible for managing large electrical contracts for projects spanning the education, commercial and leisure sectors.
Speaking about his appointment, Mark said: “I’m confident that moving to REL will be one of the best careers moves I’ve ever made. It’s a business that clearly looks after its people and has very efficient processes in place that ensure projects are implemented to the highest standards.”
REL’s managing director, Toby Buckley added: “We’re really pleased to welcome Mark to the team. His arrival follows a number of contract wins, many of which have been secured following our input during the early pre-construction stages.
“Mark’s vast experience will support the delivery of several major projects in our pipeline, including two large schemes currently being built by Willmott Dixon in the south and east of the UK.”
